چکیده

The alarming increase in pesticide residues poses a major threat to aquatic and natural habitats. Therefore, it has become essential design extremely operationally economically advantageous systems for the removal of carbofuran pesticides from wastewater. Here, an aluminum-based metal-organic framework (MOF), MIL-53-NH2, its modified forms, MIL-53-NH-ph, MIL-53-NH-ph-Fe, MIL-53-NH-ph-Zn, MIL-53-NH-ph-Cu, have been successfully synthesized. Full characterization using IR, 1HNMR, XRD, SEM was carried out. prepared MOFs utilized as effective adsorbents aqueous solutions. various factors affecting adsorption process (pH, time, adsorbate concentration) were also investigated. Spectroscopic approaches used investigate mechanisms. A mixture π-π stacking contact, coordination bonding, hydrogen bond formation can be connected current process. solutions best described by pseudo-second-order kinetics Langmuir equilibrium isotherm models. MIL-53-NH-Ph, MIL-53-NH-Ph-Fe, MIL-53-NH-Ph-Zn, MIL-53-NH-Ph-Cu demonstrated capacities 367.8, 462.1, 662.94, 717.6, 978.6 mg g−1, respectively.

Efficient removal of cobalt(II) ion from aqueous solution using amide-functionalized metal-organic framework

In this study, an amide-functionalized metal-organic framework, namely TMU-24 was selected to adsorb Co(II) from wastewater with an adsorption capacity of 500 mg. g-1 in less than 20 minutes in neutral pH (pH=7). The effect of diverse parameters such as adsorbent dosage, competitive ions, and contact time on the adsorption process was investigated to find the optimal amounts of them. Also, the ...

Hydrate-based heavy metal separation from aqueous solution.

A novel hydrate-based method is proposed for separating heavy metal ions from aqueous solution. We report the first batch of experiments and removal characteristics in this paper, the effectiveness and feasibility of which are verified by Raman spectroscopy analysis and cross-experiment. 88.01-90.82% of removal efficiencies for Cr(3+), Cu(2+), Ni(2+), and Zn(2+) were obtained. Further study sho...

Optimization of solvothermally synthesized ZIF-67 metal organic framework and its application for Cr(VI) adsorption from aqueous solution

In this study, ZIF-67 was synthesized through solvothermal method to remove Cr(VI) ions from aqueous solution. To improve the structural properties of ZIF-67 and its adsorption capacity, optimization of the synthesis conditions was carried out based on maximum Cr(VI) uptake. From experiments, the optimum condition was revealed as solvent: metal ion molar ratio of 4.6:1, ligand: metal ion molar ...

Metal-organic framework materials as nano photocatalyst

Photocatalytic degradation of toxic organic compound in water, soil and air by semiconductor catalysts such as TiO2 and ZnO have received much attention over the last two decades. However, the low quantum yield, easy agglomeration and difficult post-separation of these inorganic catalysts limit their application for large-scale applications. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are the latest class ...
